I’m really excited to be able to tell you that we’ll be re-launching our very own Carnegie Friends scheme very soon.
The original scheme
The original scheme was started by the Carnegie Development Group (CDG) in 2011. The CDG was set up to support Allerdale Borough Council in developing the venue. The group were the beginning of what has now become, the Carnegie Theatre & Arts Centre being an independent charity responsible for its own destiny.
The scheme had around 100 friends at its peak and there are still some friends who continue to give an annual subscription to this day despite the scheme not being as active as we would have liked. To those friends we want to thank-you for your continued long standing support – we’ll be writing to you very soon to update you on the new scheme.
The new scheme
Understanding that everyone wants to get the most for their money and coming to the theatre is no exception the new scheme will offer a perfect choice for regular theatre goers and those avid supporters of the venue.
We’re developing a package of benefits which you’ll be entitled to when you subscribe to the scheme such as money saving discounts and exclusive benefits that friends will be entitled to.
Your continued support will enable us to continue to repair, improve and develop the Carnegie Theatre & Arts Centre as we’ve continued to do since the Carnegie Theatre Trust took control in 2015. We understand how important the Carnegie is to West Cumbria and every member of our team share a determination to continue the work we’ve started to make the venue the best it has ever been.
If you want to be one of the first to hear when the scheme is open for applications send an email to email@example.com and we’ll let you know.
