WHATS ON?

Carnegie Connections

Join us for Carnegie Connections, our new series of creative community taster sessions.

Get creative and try fun, hands on crafts. Meet others and connect in a friendly space.

During these sessions you can find information and support through local services whilst feeling better and getting tips on health and wellbeing.

These events are open to all. Drinks, snacks and a hot lunch will available on the day, with lunch served at 12.30pm.

Please click here to book your place. Suggested donation £3.

The sessions will be run in Studio 1 at the Carnegie on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 23 September, 10.30am – 1.30pm

Join us in September for a creative workshop with Stefan Escreet from Ragged Edge Productions, as part of the Art of Wellbeing project. While creating simple paper puppets we’ll have the chance to chat together about health and wellbeing. These puppets will be brought together in imaginative, exciting and unexpected ways.

During the workshop Stefan will be recording the discussions, and will be using them to form part of an original radio play, with an accompanying exhibition at Rosehill to display the puppets.

If you would like to come along to the session but would prefer not to take part in the workshop, please join us just for a natter over a cup of tea and some lunch.

  • Tuesday 28 October, 10.30am – 1pm
  • Tuesday 25 November, 10.30am – 1pm

We’re running these as taster events and are hoping to continue them as a regular session if there is interest.
