HELP US IN REIMAGINING THE CARNEGIE!

Our volunteer trustee Board plays an important role in leading The Carnegie and ensuring a thriving future for our charity. We’re now looking for a new Chair and trustees to help shape the next exciting new chapter in our history.

We’re at a moment of change in progressing plans to continue developing our offer, reach wider audiences, strengthen our role in the community and futureproof our buildings. The Carnegie has been serving West Cumbria for over a century and we’re not done yet.

We’re particularly looking for an exceptional Chair to lead the Board and for people with skills in: finance, legal, fundraising, marketing, HR, property, or the creative sector. We’re a small charity seeking passionate and committed people who love the arts, believe in the work we can do and can give the time to support the next phase of development. First-time trustees are welcome.
