The Theatre
With its traditional proscenium arch and 306 seating capacity, the theatre is undoubtedly the jewel in the building’s crown. The Carnegie has a reputation for great rock concerts but it is also perfect for touring comedy, jazz, folk, children’s shows, theatre plays, spoken word events and tribute artists. With a central location, 5 dressing rooms and full lighting rig, it’s the perfect choice for a performance in West Cumbria.
The Theatre is also a perfect setting for conferences and exhibitions. Where better to hold a conference than in an original proscenium arch theatre setting. We have experience of holding conferences such as AGM’s (Workington Town Council) and Awards Ceremonies (Allerdale Borough Council). We can also offer the full package including reception drinks and canapés, hot or cold buffets served in our café space and our full bar throughout.
